Personal Training at Egham Orbit 2

Edmund Edge – Personal Trainer

I greatly enjoy every aspect of Personal Training. Whether its people wanting to improve their technique, achieve a performance goal, recover from an injury or my personal favourite weight loss. This is often very subjective and more psychological, than worrying about how many calories you’ve burnt off, as it is the process that matters!

The most enjoyable part, however, is seeing my clients improve, building a relationship with them, watching them gain confidence, learning and ultimately enjoying coming to the gym!

And that is what inspires me to coach more, learn more, continually refine my coaching methods and is what has led me to coaching over 700 Personal Training sessions at Egham Orbit!

Testimonials

I have been training with Edmund for over a year now. Every session with Edmund is purposeful, technical, and built around real progression.  The results are noticeable, I’m stronger, fitter, and look forward to achieving more.

Paul

I have known Edmund for more than two years while he has given me personal training sessions. He is always well turned out, prompt and reliable. I have an arthritic hip causing me pain at times and knee joints slowly going the same way. He is always cheerfully supportive and encouraging.

Edmund comes with a prepared plan of the exercises we are going to do, which varies on each occasion. However, I have come to always expect a common warm up session before the exercises and similarly a warm down afterwards. The basic exercises vary from day to day with a few of the more popular moves coming up again and again, like old friends. The exercises cover my whole body from legs, through upper body and on to arms. I have a choice of weights to use and there is no excess pressure to go for the heaviest, I can use the ones I feel happiest with.

All the time I sense encouragement, with exercises added to cover any especial aches I have. He is easy to get on with and it helps that we both love sport, cricket in particular. I like the fact that I am informed which muscles are involved in each exercise and that the whole is an all round training. I am left with that glorious feeling of having been thoroughly put through my paces.
