#Accelerating actions through our International Women’s Day event
On Saturday 8th March 2025 marked the 114th International Women’s Day, and here at Egham Orbit, we wanted to celebrate this and empower women to get active in the best ways for them!
This was our first women’s only event, and gave all women the opportunity to come and visit us, try out a range of classes, play different sports and relax in the spa.
It was fantastic to see the range of women who participated in the event, and we even had a visit from Mayor of Runnymede, Cllr Elaine Gill.
It was great to see so many women come down to the centre, many of whom had never been before. Each with their own individual reason to why they decided to join us.
