GYM REFURBISHMENT FAQs
Additional Classes
During the closure of Egham Orbit’s gym, we will be offering a range of additional classes at Egham Orbit.
These can be viewed by clicking HERE
When will the gym be closed for refurbishment?
Egham Orbit’s gym will be closed for the refurbishment on Monday 30th September until Sunday 13th October 2024. The gym will be open as normal until Sunday 29th September.
What date will the new gym open?
Egham Orbit’s new gym will reopen on Monday 14th October 2024 (normal opening hours)
What new kit is being installed?
7 x plate load equipment, lifting platforms & racks, a range of new pin loaded machines and we have doubled up on popular kit!
There will also be new functional area with boxing bag, dedicated stretch area, new cardio equipment including 2 x Watt Bikes & an additional climber.

What kit is staying?
The equipment staying at Egham Orbit includes our assault bike, rowing machines, Ski Erg, Skill Mill, Upper Body Bike.
What are we offering Egham members during gym closure?
All memberships that include the gym will be upgraded during the closure period, to include swimming, the Otium Spa and our range of exercise classes.
Will I get towel / robe included with my spa upgrade?
For those members who have been upgraded during the closure will be required to bring their own towel / robe and flip flops. Please note, your spa sessions must be booked in advance on the Achieve Lifestyle App or by calling 01784 333 111. You must also check in at the Otium Spa reception on arrival.
Can Egham gym members go to Addlestone?
Yes – Addlestone will open 6am-9pm Monday-Thursday, 6am-8pm on Fridays and 8am-4pm Saturday & Sunday. There will be no closure in the day time whilst Orbit gym is closed.

Is there parking available at Addlestone?
There is available parking by Jubilee High School and residential roads off School Lane.
What are we offering Junior members?
There will be Fast classes available in the Meadow Room at Egham Orbit, exclusively for Juniors. They can also access the Addlestone Health and Fitness gym.
Do current members have to have a new induction when the gym opens?
Current members do not need to undertake a new induction to use the new gym, but if you would like to, we will have additional staff available during the opening weeks where you can book your induction. We will also have various workshops available.
