About me
Helen
My fitness journey began back in 1993 when I started working at the National Indoor Arena (NIA) in Birmingham, UK. My first role as a personal trainer involved timing the contenders for the UK TV series “Gladiators,” which gave me a unique perspective on fitness and training.
Since then, I have become a BACPR Specialist Instructor, specializing in yoga, exercise programming, and flexibility. This certification shows that I have specialised knowledge in working with individuals who have cardiovascular disease or are at risk for it. Additionally, I have expertise in exercise programming and flexibility training. Exercise programming involves creating customized workout plans for clients based on their individual needs and goals, while the flexibility training from my yoga instruction helps to improve joint mobility and prevent injury.
Aside from yoga, I’ve been able to apply my exercise programming to specific demographics, working with participants that have been referred by general practitioners and people over the age of 50 suffering from injuries or illnesses
Whatever your starting point, I can help you commit to your goals. I believe in meeting clients where they are in their fitness journey and taking into account their unique starting points, limitations, and preferences.
So, if you’re looking to improve your fitness, drop me an email today to get started! With over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry, including working with high-level, I am committed to helping clients of all fitness levels and backgrounds achieve their goals.

Testimonials
“Helen, in particular, has been personally overseeing my programme and progress. She has shown such mature commitment and sensitivity to getting the right exercises for me at a gradual and unhurried pace. Gyms can be quite daunting places for unfit newcomers, especially for some of us more senior ones! Helen has creatively customized many of the exercises and equipment to “stretch but not stress” me and others in our classes.”

“I had the pleasure of attending Helen’s vinyasa yoga class this morning, and it was truly a transformative experience. From the moment I walked into the studio, I felt welcomed and at ease. Helen’s passion for yoga shines through in her teaching and she is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled.
She gave me personal attention and adjustments, helping me to deepen my practice and improve my posture. The class was challenging yet relaxing, and I left feeling rejuvenated and invigorated. I cannot recommend Helen’s vinyasa yoga class enough. She is a knowledgeable, caring instructor and I had a rejuvenating yoga experience.”
