Egham Orbit & Achieve POWER are open with Covid-secure procedures in place to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable visit. This webpage will be kept up-to-date with any further updates. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Latest Updates:

  • When not engaging in physical activity, visitors are encouraged to wear a face covering in enclosed public areas where possible and practical. Although we can maintain social distancing throughout most of our facilities, we want to ensure your safety is our top priority. 
  • We are also displaying the NHS Covid-19 app QR code poster at all site entrances to scan on your arrival. 
  • Our Sauna & Steam room at Otium Spa will be available for Spa members to use from 15/10. A 15 minute slot must be reserved at the Spa Reception on arrival if you wish to use these facilities and there will be a maximum of 3 people per room at any one time. 
  • Family & Toddler Splash sessions are now available and our Soft Play is now open. All sessions must be booked in advance.

Response To Government Update on 22/09: 

Further to the Government announcement and after receiving updates from the governing bodies, we can confirm that there is no change to our group exercise classes, gym sessions, badminton bookings or current swimming activities as we are running these sessions in an organised environment with Covid-secure procedures. We do stress however the importance of maintaining social distancing at all times, especially before and after classes, and not congregating in groups. Please also continue to use the hand sanitiser points and clean equipment before & after use. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our members who have been following our guidelines & signage at both of our sites.

Important Guidance:

Monthly Memberships

All monthly direct debit memberships which have not been frozen by request have been automatically restarted

Swimming lesson direct debits will automatically restart on 1st October with a pro-rata payment to be paid for September. All allocations have been sent out via email and you should have now attended your first lesson back - if you did not receive an allocation and were previously enrolled then please call us on 01784 333111 or email swimming@achievelifestyle.co.uk 


Annual / Pre Paid Memberships

Annual and pre-paid memberships will automatically be extended for the period that we have been closed so that you do not lose any time.


I’m not ready to return, what are my options?

We understand that you may not be ready to return and if you wish to delay your return then we can freeze your membership for any period up to 31st December 2020.

To request a freeze please email the Membership Team at membership@achievelifestyle.co.uk. During the freeze period you can return at any time by contacting the Membership Team, so as soon as you feel ready just get in touch!


I cancelled my membership – can I re-join?

We are aware that some members cancelled their membership or direct debit during the closure. You can re-join the centre or reinstate your direct debit by emailing membership@achievelifestyle.co.uk.


I have a membership arranged through my employer – what happens with this?

In the first instance, please discuss this with your employer but we will extend your membership for the period that you have missed so that you receive your full membership.


Who can I speak to about my membership?

Our Membership Team can be contacted via email at membership@achievelifestyle.co.uk. Please include your full name, membership number (if known) and which centre you are a member of within your email.


Achieve zONE & POWER members:

Regrettably, Achieve zONE is now closed. Whilst it was not an easy decision to make, a number of factors have affected the closure, and we would like to thank all of our zONE members for their support over the last two years. The great news is that the zONE members will be able to use the larger facility of Achieve POWER without any membership change.

Achieve POWER offers a full range of CV, fixed and free weight equipment, and hosts a range of group exercise classes including Spinning.

We have also been working hard to make various enhancements at Achieve POWER, and we cannot wait to welcome you back soon.

Until 31st December 2020, all members who continue with their membership at Achieve POWER when we re-open will also have FREE access to swimming at Egham Orbit added to their membership.

Just Gym Membership Times

The available gym session times that Just Gym members can book are: 08.00, 10.00, 12.00 & 14.00


We are asking members and staff not to visit the centre if they feel unwell or have Covid-19 symptoms.

Please follow the instructions from staff and signage at all times. We want to ensure that all customers feel safe and secure when visiting our facilities.


Opening Hours:

Monday-Thursday: 06:00-22:00

Friday: 06:00-20:00

Saturday-Sunday: 08:00-18:00


 Bank holiday hours are 08:00 – 16:00 for both sites.

What leisure activities are available?

Gym sessions and group exercise classes are available to book at both Egham Orbit and Achieve POWER. There are also lane swimming slots & sports bookings available at Egham Orbit.

The sports arena is available for badminton (max 6 people per court) and the outdoor courts are also available to book for tennis (max 4 players per court).


Is the Pluto Club (crèche) open at Egham Orbit?

Unfortunately the Pluto Club will remain closed until further guidance has been provided for crèche services within leisure facilities. We will endeavour to provide regular updates on potential opening dates.


Is your Cafe open?

Our Cafe at Egham Orbit is open for hot drinks, cold drinks, snacks and lunch with a variety of pre-packaged sandwiches & salads. We are now also proudly selling Costa Coffee.

Opening Hours: Monday-Friday 10.30am-6.30pm, Saturday-Sunday 8am-5pm


How much do pay as you go activities cost?

Group Exercise Classes (all users): £7.50

Gym Sessions: £10.00 (Adult) / £8.00 (Concession)

Swimming: £5.50


Can I pay by cash?

All of our facilities are now cashless and we will only accept card payments.

Customers can set up a cashless account and they can top this up and use this to pay for activities and retail items. Please speak to a member of staff about how to set this up.

Updated Cancellation Policy:

From Monday 21st September the following will be introduced for all group exercise classes, gym and swim sessions:

  • For early morning sessions (any sessions starting before 9am) the cancellation period will be by 8pm the day before.
  • All sessions starting from 9am onwards must be cancelled at least 3 hours before the start time.
  • When a space becomes available on a waiting list then the system will automatically add the first customer on the waiting list
  • It is then your responsibility to keep an eye on your emails and cancel if you would no longer like the allocated space

When can I attend the centre prior to my booked activity taking place?

Please do not attend the centre more than 10 minutes before the scheduled start time of your booking. If you are taking part in a group exercise class, please allow sufficient time to swipe through and set up for your class.  


Is there a time limit for my booked session?

  • Gym sessions are 90 minutes (you can arrive at any time within the allocated slot)
  • Swim sessions are 45 minutes (you can arrive 5 minutes before your session to change on poolside and have 10 minutes after your session to use the changing village)
  • Group Exercise Classes are 45 minutes
  • Sports Bookings are 55 minutes


I had a pre-booked session which I had paid for but I did not receive due to closure – what will happen to this?

Where possible we will try and re-book your session or provide a credit, but if this cannot be achieved then we are happy to provide a refund.

I am having difficulties using the App for the first time - what shall I do?

In order to make a class or gym booking, you will be required to login on the App. If you have already set up an online account which is linked to your membership then please login when prompted - you can also click the button to reset your password if required. If you have not used our online bookings before then you will need to click 'Link Existing Membership' on the login page.

If you need to connect your account to your online bookings, please check your emails from us for your bar code. If you are unsure of your bar code or if you have any further problems please email membership@achievelifestyle.co.uk


We have introduced new rigorous cleaning procedures and our staff will be carrying out regular cleaning and disinfection regimes throughout the day. We have also blocked out dedicated time between sessions to allow deep cleaning of the equipment and area.

It will be compulsory for members and staff to use hand sanitiser at the entrance of the centre and throughout the centres there will be hand sanitisation stations available. Additional cleaning stations will be located in the gym and studios for cleaning equipment before and after use.

We have installed sneeze screens and will be providing PPE for our staff in line with Public Health England (PHE) recommendations.

All of our staff have also undergone additional training in regards to the new measures as well as training on COVID-19 awareness.

Toilets will be available for gym users & group exercise class participants however the changing rooms, showers & lockers will be out of use until further notice.


Group Exercise:

  • Due to social distancing, we must limit numbers within classes, however, we have moved some classes to larger spaces so that as many people as possible can exercise safely. 
  • All classes are 45 minutes long to allow additional cleaning between classes.
  • For hygiene reasons we will not be offering mats for customers to use in classes. Please bring your own or we do have mats available to purchase from Reception.
  • Customers should not bring their own towels with them when attending classes or gym. Cleaning spray and blue towel will be available.
  • We encourage customers to bring their own water as the water fountains will not be available for use. Water can be purchased from the vending machine or café if required.

Gym Etiquette:

  • Please wipe down all equipment before & after use.
  • All gym equipment has been spaced for social distancing but please also ensure that you keep your distance from other gym users when you are not on a fixed machine (e.g. when using free weights or stretching).
  • Customers should not bring their own gym towels with them. Cleaning spray and blue towel will be available.

Are there any booking restrictions?

  • Due to capacity and demand, we shall be restricting gym use to one booked session of 90 minutes per day. We will be reviewing this on a regular basis and will update you if we are able to relax this.
  • We also ask that you show consideration for other members and only book up to 90 minutes of group exercise per day (i.e. Maximum of two x 45 minute sessions). This is to allow as many people as possible to benefit from exercise whilst capacity is limited.
  • If you are attending more than one group exercise class, you must swipe through on the reception gates for each class. This must take place no more than 10 minutes before each class commences.


We are now offering lane swimming for competent swimmers and have re-started our swimming lesson programme.

Family and Toddler sessions will be available to book from Saturday 3rd October.

All swim sessions must be booked in advance. You can do this via our website, the Achieve Lifestyle App, or by calling us on 01784 333111. 


  • Lane swimmers: Please arrive 'beach-ready' and enter via the entrance to the left of the Cafe (near spectator seating). You must remove your shoes before entering poolside and then proceed to change on the poolside seating and then put your belongings in a locker. All lane swimming sessions are 45 minutes of pool access time, with 5 minutes to change on poolside before your swim and 10 minutes to use the changing village after your swim. Showers and our changing village will be available for after your swim and you should then exit through the changing room.
  • For Family & Toddler sessions please check-in at Main Reception. You will be able to access the changing village 10 minutes before your session.
  • Pre-swim showers are mandatory.
  • Please note that hair dryers will be temporarily unavailable. 
  • It is important to remember that people of different standards and abilities will be using the pool at the same time, so please respect everyone’s right to enjoy their swim.
  • When entering the pool, please select the correct lane for your ability and choose an appropriate stroke (Butterfly stroke will not be permitted).
  • Please follow the directional signage and when stopping for a rest or catching your breath, please keep to the edge of the lane to allow swimmers to turn in the middle.

Update 23/09: 

In England, new rules are in place relating to indoor and outdoor sport as follows:

Indoor organised sport for over 18s are no longer exempt from the rule of six. Organised outdoor sport or licensed outdoor physical activity, and supervised sporting activity (indoors or outdoors) for under 18s can occur in groups of greater than six. Organised indoor sport or exercise classes can also take place in larger numbers, provided groups of more than six do not mix. Organised indoor team sports for disabled people can take place in any number. Recent changes in restrictions in the other nations have no impact on indoor or outdoor sport and physical activity. Please also see CIMSPA’s updated guidance – click: HERE


Our Sports Arena at Egham Orbit is now available for Badminton bookings (max 6 people per court). Our outdoor courts are available to book for Tennis (max 4 players per court) and our 3G Football pitches are also available for hire. Our Healthy Living Badminton and Walking Football organised sessions are also now running.

Full guidance can be found below. All Sports sessions MUST be booked in advance - no walk-ins please. 


Badminton Guidance:

  • Courts can be booked with up to 6 players. 
  • Both singles play and doubles play can take place in groups of people from different households, as long as you remain 2 metres apart as far as possible – meaning that four people from different households can play doubles.
  • Players can rotate within the group but social distancing must be maintained within this group. You cannot move groups within a session.
  • Good hand hygiene is essential – wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds – you should wash your hands or use sanitiser before leaving to play and on your return to home.
  • You must only use your own racket(s). The sharing of shuttles is permitted but players must avoid using their hands to pick up shuttles from other courts; where possible - use your own racket to return them.
  • Avoid using/touching other equipment such as nets and posts where possible. 


Tennis Guidance:

  • Courts can be booked with up to 4 players. 
  • Play can take place in groups of people from different households, as long as you remain 2 metres apart where possible.
  • Players can rotate within the group but social distancing must be maintained within this group. You cannot move groups within a session.
  • Good hand hygiene is essential – wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds – you should wash your hands or use sanitiser before leaving to play and on your return to home.
  • You must only use your own racket(s). The sharing of tennis balls is permitted but players should avoid touching their face and hand sanitise regularly.
  • Avoid using/touching other equipment such as nets and posts where possible. 


Football Guidance:

  • Our 3G pitches can be booked from 1st August, in line with the FA’s Guidelines for the Return of Outdoor Competitive Grassroots Football.
  • Regrettably, our grass pitch is unavailable at this time.
  • Please bring your own sanitised equipment. The FA recommend that footballs and goalposts are cleaned at regular points throughout the game, which will be the responsibility of the booker.
  • There is no limit to the amount of players, however our pitches are 5-a-side pitches so we recommend a maximum of 10 players per pitch.
  • Players can rotate within the booking
  • Social distancing must be maintained before and after a football booking.

Our main swimming pool timetable can be found HERE. The pool can be accessed from the Wet Spa - if you would like to use the pool please be aware of the lane swimming times available on the pool timetable. Please wait in the Wet Spa area if the pool is closed for cleaning which is for 15 minutes on each hour - you may then join the next session at quarter past the hour. 


Spa Member Visits:

All members are required to book their Spa visit online or using the Achieve Lifestyle App (Egham Orbit). Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate walk-ins at the moment due to monitoring capacity for social distancing measures. There are 2 hour time slots available followed by a short period of closure to allow for a deep clean of the Spa. You are welcome to use the Spa for the full two hours or arrive at any time within the allocated slot but please make sure you leave on-time.  

  • Please kindly cancel your appointment if you experience any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been in contact with someone who has.
  • All facilities are currently available with the exception of the showers and hair dryers (changing rooms & lockers are still available).
  • If you would like to use the sauna or steam room (available from 15/10), please book an allocated 15 minute time slot at the Spa Reception when you arrive. There will be a maximum of 3 people in each room at any one time with a maximum of 15 minutes in each room. Please sit on a towel and maintain social distancing at all times.
  • Please ensure you hand sanitise on arrival using the sanitisation points provided.
  • We have reduced the capacity of the Spa in order to ensure that members can safely maintain social distance without compromising the quality of their visit. All loungers have been spaced out for social distancing so please do not move the loungers.
  • A band, towel and robe will be issued on arrival at the Spa Reception and all bands will be thoroughly sanitised before and after use.
  • The main swimming pool can be accessed from the Spa. Please follow our new swim etiquette rules. You do not need to book a lane swim in addition to a Spa visit to use the pool, however please be aware of our lane swimming times if you would like to access the main swimming pool during your visit.   • Please ensure that you maintain social distancing at all times and follow the signage of maximum numbers.
  • Please bring a bottle of water with you. It is with regret that we are currently unable to serve food or drinks in the Spa.



Bookings are now available online or via the Otium Spa App. You can also call us on 01784 333111 but we advise booking online where possible.

We are now able to offer all treatments with the exception of spray tans, couple & pregnancy treatments. 


Masks are now compulsory for all treatment clients, please ensure you arrive with a face mask. Our therapists will be wearing full PPE for the duration of your treatment.

- You must cancel your appointment if you feel any symptoms or suspect that you have been in contact with someone who has.
- Please come alone to your appointment and bring minimal belongings.
- We recommend clients bring a bottle of water with them but hot drinks and food is not permitted.
- Please ensure you hand sanitise on arrival using the sanitisation points provided.

If you make a booking you will receive further information via email so please check your emails (and junk folder) once you have booked your treatment.
